Eye Of The Day and Exciting News!

So I actually got up early enough before work to do my makeup. If yall didnt know I work night at an assisted living facility. So I was going to try to do a cut crease but I realized how freaking small of a space that I have between my eyeball and my brow. Totally didn't work out lol. I was really debating on posting this because I thought that I got all the black off but you can see a little bit of it smeared, boo. Ok so for this look I used my BH 88 shimmer pallete. (photos of it and direct link will be down below)
I used 4 colors from this palette. I used two of the blues, a pink and a green. I also used Kims Kreations Therapy for my bottom linner.
As you can tell you can spot the black a little bit but I really did like this look so I wanted to share it.

You can purchase the Pallette that I used by Clicking the link below which will take you right to one I used.

On to the exciting news! I recently applied for a promoting position with an indie company called Moi Mineral Makeup. Well yesterday I receieved an email saying that the owner Holly would love  me to promote for them! I was so stinking excited I was breathless. It always feels amazing when others love and share my work.

I shall have more post soon maybe today later! :)
Take care and God Bless

Darling Girl Cosmetics First order.

Darling Girl Cosmetics review and first impression. I recently made my first purchase from Darling Girl Cosmetics. I have actually been a fan of their page for a while but one of the facebook groups that I am in and always talk about in my post, finally made me break down and make a purchase. I made a small purchase of some of their new summer shadows. I didn't know what to purchase and wanted to try many of their shadows. I settled for 2 full size jars, which are 5 gram jars with sifters and I grabbed 3 Mini jars which are 3 gram jars with sifters. I also purchased some of their superstar serum to foil the shadows. Darling Girl has some really awesome things going for customers. Each week they do a limited edition shadow in a 3 gram jar for free with a purchase of $10.00 or morwithout shipping. My total was high enough therefore I was able to get the gift with purchase. Darling Girl Cosmetics also offers a different shadow or item from their shop at 20% off each week. I really cant resist sales lol. Ok so I was able to grab the limited edition gift with purchase this order and the other two orders that I have placed since then lol.

SO, my first order consisted of the following colors:
Beach Blanket Bing (5 Gram Jar)
Poolside Party (3 Gram Jar)

Virus Insanity Samples!

So I recently purchased some clamshells from Virus Insanity. I have always wanted to try her shadows out but I hate to wait a long time. Virus Insanity was having a sale about a month ago that convinced me to make a purchase. Virus Insanity had a free shipping on all orders. That alone saved me 5 dollars. I just purchased a few samples. I honestly have so much makeup that I try to only buy samples or mini jars now on! So I placed this Order on June 14 and received the package today July 8. It was a little more than her processing time than stated. I was a little frustrated by that, but some of that comes from it being my hard earned money and I am afraid of getting scammed, or products being completely different from what they actually look like in person. Anyways back to the order.
I purchased 5 Clamshells. When I got my package I had 6 clamshells in there. I got an extra one for placing an order I guess, which is awesome. So here are the photos that I took of the products I got.
Here is a photo of the clamshells closed. There are no ingredient labels. Virus Insanity has their ingredients listed on their site though.

Becca Ecca a Lime green. Has some yellowish tone too it
VI: Becca Ecca is a super Bright Lime Green.

Bluebell: a Bright Blue with Sparkle
VI: A frosty Blue that leans slightly purple
I Honestly don't see any purple in this color. I really don't care that there isn't purple cause I love the color as it is, so its a win win.

Splash: A very True Bright Blue.
VI: a bright blue toned teal.
I am a huge sucker for blue especially any bright and true blues.

Excitement: a Magenta pink with lots of iridescence
VI: Hot Pink with Blue Iridescence.

OMG: a Bright Royal Blue
VI: a Bright Blue with Silver Rainbow Hologram Glitter and Blue Glitter.
I really didn't notice glitter. I had received a sample from a sample swap of this color and knew I had to have it and I still never knew it had glitter in it.

Corrion: A light to medium dark brown with lots of green iridescence in it.
VI:deep chocolatey brown with green tones and iridescence that shifts from greenish gold, to greenish silver, to blue.

Swatches where done over Benefit Lemon aid primer
Swatches where done over Benefit Lemon Aid.

All photos where used with flash and under inside lighting.

My overall experience with Virus Insanity. I love the colors and I would purchase from them again! I would not get samples Because the samples where half the price of the full size jars which I think are 5 gram jars, from what I have seen from others photos. I really do suggest them to other buyers. Virus Insanity is always, ALWAYS having some kind of sales. My swatches where kinda crappy. I don't usually do swatches of samples cause, well they are samples not a lot in them, Plus some of my good brushes that I use for swatching are already packed.
NOTED: all items where purchased by me and I was not paid for a review. I love trying new brand and getting new makeup. WHAT girl doesn't :)

Thanks for reading.

Spectrum Cosmetics

So I recently purchased 10 3 gram jars from a company called spectrum cosmetics. I have watched their site a lot and have always wanted to make a purchase. They have amazing colors and almost everything beauty that you can think of. I take part in what is called elfster. One of the indie groups that I follow does elfster every so ofter. If you are wondering what elfster is, it is like a secret santa deal. You create a profile and add items to the list and someone purchases things for you. Anyway I purchases a few items from Spectrum for my elfters and myself. I was in aww when I received my items. I ended up keeping an extra pigment for myself and adding some other items to my elfies package. The colors that I received were so pretty and I am glad that I finally made a purchase. The colors where very pigmented and silky. I didn't have trouble working with the colors over primer. I notice with a lot of companies that their colors are hard to work with over primer, NOT this one. The colors that I purchased where not off based compared to the picture that the website displays. Spectrum Cosmetics shipping was fast and accurate. The following are photos that I took and swatches of the colors that I got.
This Colors is Sea Horse. A very Beautiful light green with lots of shimmer

This colors is Pacific. If you are looking for a true blue, Pacific is a true Blue color.

The Color is Callie. A very beautiful Bright Pink color.

This color is Courage. Courage is a toned down purple. Very beautiful color

This color is Chemical X, I have to say I absolutely love this color.

This color is Unicorn Tears, and this one has got to be my favorite color out of the whole order that I placed. This purple has an irredesent tone to it and makes it jaw dropping.

These are swatches over NYX jumbo pencil in milk. You can tell in this photo that the colors are very pigments and pretty

Kims Kreations/Vixoden Cosmetics

Hey Everyone I just wanted to share a company that I absolutely love to death. This company is run by a very sweet lady named Kim. She makes some incrediable colors. Kim recently returned from being sick and boy was I happy! I think since she has been back I have already made about 4 purchases. I just completely love her shadows. Her shadows are very silky and smooth. The shadows are very pigmented and shimmery. Along with those great qualities she also has great prices. Kim works with people on a budget which is awesome for me since my budget is very limited due to having my own house. I wear a lot of her colors and probably where them 1-3 times a week.
I am addicted to her colors like crazy. Below are some swatches of some of the colors that I have. I love her packaging of the eyeshadows btw, they come in cute stackable jars.
This is the Bahama Momma stacker. Beautiful Bright Colors. (sorry for the white showing my nyx primer was being a pain in the butt)

This is the chocolate stacker. I usually don't use nudes, but I got this in a unreleased collection package, so I didn't know what I was getting. Although I don't like nudes I absolutely love theses colors.

This is the Personal Spa Collection. I also got this stacker in a limited edition package. These colors are beautiful and perfect for a toned down look that still have out of the norm colors.
The final swatch for the day is from the Alpha and Omega stacker. If you are anything like me I have certain colors that I have a lot of and purple is one of them, so I of course had to get this collection. This collection is discontinued now but I love it. If you are wanting to do a look out of all purples this is the stacker that you want. It has the light, bold, and dark purple that you need for that kind of look.

This is unfortunately all I have had time to swatch of Vixoden Cosmetics. I am hoping to be able to get more done this weekend. I hope that you enjoy my very first blog post.

sincerely
