Sleek Makeup Featuring I-Dust

Hello Lovelies and welcome back.
So, I recently purchased from Sleek Makeup, its located in London. Sleek are know for their palletes. I personally own the Sleek Acid palette. Even though I have the sleek acid palette I have never purchased from them. The palette was a gift. I placed a order on the 29th of August and recieved it September 10th. That is very fast shipping for something being in another country. Each of their I-Dust are 3.99. They are packaged in 6.5 gram jars with a sifter. I was very pleased and excited to find out that, that the shipping from London to Kansas was only $2.45. That is very cheap compared to some of the US prices. OK, on to the pigments themselves.
I- Dust pigment in breathless. This pigment is a very pretty blue with almost a green tone to it when you look at it in certain light. I am very glad that I purchased this color cause as its name it is very breathless. Good job sleek on this one :)

I-Dust pigment in So Sleek. This a pink fuchsia colored pigment with lots of sparkle to it.

I-Dust pigment in sunfest. I don't know what to say about this one. I think that this one was a matte but since the describition didn't say anything about each of the different color I didn't know that until I tried it out. I think maybe it I add some shimmer to it I may like it. This is a very bright and vivid yellow.

I really love sleeks packaging. Here is a photo of what the pigments look like in their jars.

Each swatch was taken over NYX jumbo pencil in Milk and taken with flash.

Each of the pigments here where taken over bare skin. If you have never understood or tried  primer, this and the previous photo shows you how much primer changes what a pigment looks like. You don't have to spend a lot on primer. When I started using primer I just used some cheap clear lipstick, that didn't cost much.
Hope that you enjoyed this little post on sleek
as always

Birchbox September 2013

Hello lovelies,
I recently got my 2nd month of Birchbox in my mailbox. Woohoo right?
I have been receiving Birchbox's off and on for the back 2 years. I tend to get very bored with Birchbox in a few months. My first month I signed up in the middle of the month and had received it the 22nd. The box I received was smashed completely, which everything inside was ruined. Birchbox did replace the box but I got it in September and that is why i didn't do a post on August's Birchbox. One thing that I like about Birchbox than Ipsy, Birchbox has better shipping time and gets to your door faster than Ipsy. I will say I love almost everything in this months package! Are you ready for a peak?
Ruffian Nail Polish.
This polish is a douchrome olive green polish. I really don't paint my nails cause I suck at it, however the size and packaging of it, is so cute.
The full size collection with contains three colors in this size is $24.00 and can be purchased at the link below. Since this is in this months box the shipping is free!

Coastal Scents Day to Night mini sampler. I absolutely love getting samples from coastal scents. I have a total of like 6 different ones of these and love them. Out of the 4 colors I am loving the two top browns. Shocking right? They would be great for linner and inner corner colors.
The normal retail price for their pallete that contains these 4 beautiful colors is $39.00. Yikes, but don't worry that also includes three makeup brushes. Again with this item you will receive free shipping cause this is in Septembers box.

Caudalie makeup remover/cleansing water. I am really excited to try this out. I haven't tried a lot of face wash. I have my dedicated makeup remover and I find it stupid to spend a lot of money on this when I can get good remover for cheaper. however the fullsize bottle of this really isn't to bad of a price.

Last but not least. Amika Blow up Spray. This is for all hair types, which will be nice. I have very dried out brittle hair. This will give your hair more volume to it when you blow dry your hair. I don't usually blow dry my hair, but it will be a great Christmas gift to give my mother.

That's a wrap for today! Please look tomorrow for a new post!
As always

Ipsy August 2013

Well hello again lovelies, I recently received my August Ipsy bag. I have no idea what happened this month with ipsy but my bag was two weeks late and mostly all the items that I received where not on my list of what I was supposed to get. I also was not able to get the purple bag which was what upset me the most. I really loved that cute purple bag instead I received last months bag again. I have been getting Ipsy for a year now and this is the first time that I have had a lot of problems with ipsy. I was doing some reading in one of the groups that I am in and they also where having the same problems with their bags. I hope that ipsy fixes this problem soon. Anyways on to the items that I got.
I got a mini lipstick from the new Urban Decay Revolutionary line in the color anarchy. This lipstick is beautiful.

I also got a Michael Todd True Organics
facial scrub. I was supposed to get the pumpkin one but I ended up getting the jojoba charcoal scrub. I am super excited to try this out. If you are unaware of what charcoal scrubs do, they take the toxins out of your skin.
I also got a Mica Beauty Cosmetic shimmer powder in the color bronze. I am not a huge neautral fan but this color is just beautiful and I am determined to use this somehow. You could also use this as a highlighter or bronzer.
My fourth item that I got was this lovely cheek stain. I am not to excited about this cause I do not like cream blush. This is a pretty coral/pinkish color.

My Last item I receieved is a Chella eyebrown pencil. I am excited for this only cause I do not own one eyebrow pencil. This pencil is a retractanble one which is always a plus and a very rich brown color.
My overall experience with this months bad has been a mixed emotions. I do love 4/5 of my items which is a plus but with all the chaos ipsy had this month I hope that things next month will be a better experience.

If you are interested in trying ipsy out I would 100% suggest this monthly subscription box vs birchbox. Birchbox even though I get birchbox too. Ipsy does have a wait list which usually its like a month wait to join which isn't bad.
If you are interested in join ipsy you can join with me here: http://www.ipsy.com/?refer=u-h0d7erfe7003s4
Hope that Yall enjoyed my post,
Until next time

Fyrinnae: First purchase and first impression.

Welcome back lovies! Today's post is about a new company to me,  I have only heard amazing reviews from this company, so I ordered a few samples. Their samples come in small jars and are 2.50 each. Shipping was $1.75. The processing time was stated as 35-40 business days which is a lot but, I received mine in 3 business day, which was amazing. I was super excited to try the colors that I bought from them. I will say that the first thing that I noticed was their photos on their website didn't do the pigments any justice at all. The colors where more pigmented and beautiful in person than on their site. There pigments are very silky and smooth. They have a buttery type finish. Below are the colors that I purchased along with a free sample too. Hope you like and enjoy.
Bitey Tryrannosaur
a bright pea green with sparkle

Bollywood Babe
A light pink with sparkle

Digital Faerie
A turquoise blue with shimmer

Parental advisory
Despite what the picture shows this shadow is purple. I couldn't get a purple photo in any light to come out on this pigments.

Dragons Wing
A grass green with iridescence

All pigments where swatched over Benefit Lemon aid, and taken with flash.
my overall thoughts and feeling. I honestly know what all the hype is about this company now. They have affordable and great cosmetics. They carry almost everything a makeup junkie needs and wants. I have heard great things about their pressed shadows, but I really don't want to spend $9.00 on a pressed shadow. I will continue to purchase from them and hopefully will be buying some full size shadows once I get more room in my collection.

overall experience ratings:
Product: 9/10
Product Pigmentation 5/5
Application 5/5
Packaging 5/5
Shipping: 5/5
Would I purchase from this company again? Yes
Would I recommend this company? Yes

My Pretty Zombie

I recently made my first purchase with a company called My Pretty Zombie. I have seen their page on etsy many time, but I never made a purchase. The other day they where running a 33% sale on everything in the store, so I figured why not. I purchased two collections that consisted of three colors each. The collections where $15.00 each, and with the 33% discount and shipping I mangaged to only pay $23.00 and some change. When buying Indie makeup it can be kind of tricky. The way the internet and photoshop have become, you can get items that you don't want, by deceiving photos. I had always been hesitant to purchase from My Pretty Zombie, only because their photos looked almost too good to be true, but boy wasn't I wrong. Actually there photos don't do the colors that I got enough justice. Below are photos of each pigment and swatches of each pigment.

mNG set: a beautiful pink themed trio.
mNG #2
MPZ: a peachy pink with golden green shifts.
BMEB: A bright pink with a gold undertone. Looks pink one way and looks gold another way. Absolutely a beautiful color.

mNG#3
MPZ: a bubblegum pink with a blueish/purple shift.
BMEB: a light pink with a very vibrant blue/green undertone.
This color would be a great color for blending your pinks together due to its soft pink color and the iridescence in it.

mNG#1
MPZ: Hot Pink with a blue shift.
BMEB: a pink fushia color with a slight blue under tone to it. This has to be my favorite color out of these three colors. It includes two of my top three colors bright pink and light blue.
These shadows are easy to apply and work with (Blend). The shadows are very silky and soft, compared to other companies that I have tried out. The color pay off is also great!

The Blue Period Set
Dissoultion
MPZ: Purple/Blue base.
BMEB: Dissoultion is a stunning true blue with lots of purple iridescence. This is another one that you can look at and get two different colors. What I love about this color, is that stunning purple undertone to it. It latterly takes my breath away.

Infirmity
MPZ: Mossy green/ blue base.
BMEB: First off this color is just stunning again. It have a darker blue color to it but also has greenish/gold undertone to the pigment. Again this is another pigment that looks one color one way, and another one a different way.

Forsaken
MPZ:Turquoise/blue base
BMEB: This is a pretty plain blue compared to the last two. This is a very bright and vibrant blue. For me there really isn't another to describe this color then what I did.

Next thing is swatches of each of the collections.
mNG trio: These have been swatched over benefit lemon aid and photos where taken with flash.

The Blue Period Trio
Each shadow was swatched over Vixoden Cosmetics Eye Plaster and taken with flash.
